When we think about a home security system, we presume that the alarm system and your Long Island alarm company is uninterruptedly protecting our home, our personal property and ourselves. And that’s a reasonable assumption.
But do we ever consider the security of the Long Island alarm company itself? How do we know if the company is reliable – especially during a natural disaster? Is the alarm company at risk of failure during an emergency?
Recent events, such as Hurricane Sandy and the Massachusetts gas line explosion caused by human error bring us even greater awareness that natural and man-made disasters are unpredictable and often catastrophic.
One thing that these disasters bring into high relief is the ability (or inability) of infrastructures to stay intact.
It’s easy to be on top of your business if everything is going well, however, the real question is “after a disaster, how effectively does a service oriented company continue to provide service?”
At All Island Security, we take our infrastructure very seriously. We have constructed our system to the highest of professional standards with a considerable amount of planning and attention to detail. Our measures were put in place to make sure that our Long Island alarm company facilities continue to protect you, even in an emergency situation.
Here are some facts about our company:
We have a 24 Hour Monitoring Center which is located in Nassau County in New York’s Long Island. The center is approved by Underwriters Laboratories (UL), which is an independent, non profit product safety testing and certification organization.
Our Monitoring Center is custom designed and constructed to meet professional standards. Our attention to detail has earned us a 5 Diamond Certification by the Central Station Alarm Association. A CSAA certification lets customers know that their members provide the highest in quality and reliability for residential and commercial alarm services.
The Monitoring Center has its own back up power source and independent communications systems. It has three fully operational computer systems, each with its own UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply).
We also have an off-site redundant backup system in Michigan for further protection of our customers.
We want you to know that we are taking care of you – no matter what, no matter where.
